Тактика Канело подойти поближе и бить силовые удары, в надежде пробить по печени, отход к канатам и защита напоминает Флойда. Очень много пропускает, удар держит, занятия штангой пошли на пользу. Когда встретил быстрого и длиннорукого боксера, который не подпускал на расстояние удара, то выгледел мешком для ударов, бой с Биволом тому подтверждение.

One announcer in every Canelo fight is biased toward the opponent and is most often made a FOOL. This time he continually praises Liam Smith even as Canelo watchers know that he is dismanteling the guy in his typical style. "He has Canelo against the ropes". Really? More like 'rope a dope' as the next flurry from Canelo takes him down not 10 seconds from the biased announcer praising Liam.
