@@TransitionedToAShark I've seen this kind of comment a lot, and on the face of it it seems correct until you think about it a little more. What if AJ just smacks him like that in a real fight? Well Ngannou can use kicks... But again what if AJ just smacks him like that as Ngannou throws kicks? Well Ngannou can grapple... Again what if AJ just smacks him when he comes in for a takedown? I don't think MMA fighters win in any format against boxers of this level. So long as their punch and it's timing is refined to such a high level it will win out against MMA. If his punch is faster and better than your kicks takedowns and punches then it beats all of them. A jack of all trades but master of none can never beat a specialist.

I saw Ngannou's fight with Tyson Fury and was highly impressed with him and thought he won. So I really gave him a chance against Joshua. How wrong I was! In retrospect, most likely Fury wasn't in shape, tens of millions of dollars couldn't motivate him to train properly for it. Anyway, for Joshua this was a great victory, and IMO Ngannou is still a great fighter! For him these two fights payed out very well! More than the UFC ever would!

It cant be any more clear that boxing is an insanely complex sport in its own right. A champion caliber boxer should only fight other champion caliber boxers. Much love and respect for Nganou, but these heavyweight champion caliber boxers have been at it since age 5. That’s a lot of chess matches to draw experience from. I think the mania surrounding novelty matches has gotten people whipped Into a frenzy over the big money they bring. Someone is going to get seriously hurt before it all blows over. Great punching as expected from AJ.

I really gained respect for AJ after this fight. He came in completely focused and just get on with business. Very composed but yet exercised his might.

Francis was fighting with heavy weight Olympic champion Anthony Joshua, he should have taken time for his training and sould have come back with solid defence technique. Anyway, whether Francis has the ability, whether he belongs in the world boxing top 10, let's see ,what comes out of Francis the fighter😊

The Ngannou vs. Joshua showdown was a highly anticipated clash between two heavyweight titans from different combat sports worlds. Ngannou's raw power and MMA background clashed with Joshua's refined boxing technique and championship pedigree. While both fighters showcased their strengths, Joshua's experience and tactical approach proved decisive as he secured a hard-fought victory. The bout delivered on its promise of excitement and drama, leaving fans eager for more crossover matchups in the future

at the end of the day Ngannou just does not posses the boxing skills that Josua has. It does not matter how much power you have, the skills and experience, along with the power that Joshua has trumps any power advantage Ngannou had. It's simple as that. Joshua literally has way more boxing experience than Ngannou. Props to him for taking a fight against Joshua but lets be honest, Joshua is a much much more experienced and skilled boxer, hands down. I would have been disappointed if Joshua didn't KO him.

this is an unfair fight, tyson took it as an exhibition style fight, this made francis think he is a boxer, AJ wanted to put those flames out, if you notice, AJ didn't give it his all, he just didn't want Ngannou to get too confident, AJ showed him its his sport.

MMA and Boxing are 2 totally different sports. Just because both involve punching does not mean they are the same thing. Just like a boxer would get destroyed in an MMA ring, an MMA fighter would get destroyed in a boxing ring. I do not know how Tyson Fury almost got whooped by Francis. Cough, Refs, Cough.

I'm a Boxing Coach and I don't claim to know even half of everything, but I do get MMA Fighters coming in to learn and work on their Boxing .. .. They're always Stacked, very Fit , very Tough and I like working with them .. .. But, they never do well when Sparring the Boxers , for the same reason I wouldn't do well in the cage .. .. That's why I stay out of the cage .. .. I just wish that the sentiment went both ways

2:35 if he had followed it up with another 2 or 3 punches it really would've done some damage and set the tone to have Joshua fighting backwards on his heels. Ngannou alsp should have utilized his powerful clinch more often to throw punches on the inside exchanges. Lastly, the switch to Southpaw too soon was his downfall.
