If you saw the fight, there were much situations, when he wanted to grab him. You cant focus on your hands only when you trained mma that long. I can just speak from my side. It was stupid by McGregor to believe he could go 12 rounds against a pro boxer of high lignage witha 49-0 scorecard while being used to intense but short 5 round fights. To me it was obvious he would be dangerous to Mayweather in rounds 1-2-3 and then slow down and get dominated in the rest. Mayweather actually had a perfect fight plan to the point that he apparently not only beat him but even bet on his own win at the 10th making another bucket of millions. :-D BTW beating McGregor alowed Floyd to surpass the before unbeaten world record scorecard of Rocky Marciano... with 50-0 in career.
