Пирог был не известен миру на тот момент и его привезли на убой так писали газеты и Jacobs должен был выиграть, жаль Пирог не смог продолжить карьеру проблема с позвоночником

Daniel Jacobs had a maybe 2 good rounds. I predicted the knockout from round 1. The way Pirov moved, put his punches together, etc. That Mike Tyson/Floyd Mayweather defense. Great haed movement. Wow!! Good stuff.

Well - as you can see in the final punchstat, Jacobs was throwing more punches and hit Pirog more often. Therefore it might be not been as scandalous as you think it was. The commentators mentioned something like that, too: This was one of the few boxing fights where statistics didn't tell the story. But statistics have impact, nevertheless, even in such a intriguing fight.

Jacobs was about to get up and the referee pushed him down. I can't remember seeing that before. Maybe the referee thought that Jacobs would get hurt if he tried to continue.

This is why you don’t just lay with your eyes closed once knocked down. Refs are there to stop the fight and if you show them you’re out, you’re done.

I remember watching this fight live. I thought Daniel Jacob’s was gonna win considering he’s the bigger fighter. Man this should’ve been the same thing that happened with fury was KO but they stopped this fight but not the Tyson fury vs wilder fight.

After Jacobs was knocked out the ref wouldn't let Jacobs get up, saving Jacobs from a brutal beating and maybe injury, the ref knew what was best !

The ref needs to count till 10. Give the man what the rules say . He could have gotten up after clearing his head by 9Then to push him down. To intrusive on a fighters will and rules.

Daniel Jacobs was knocked out because he was leaning on the ropes when Pirog was releasing his precious bomb.A boxer should lean on the ropes only if he takes a punch like Archie Moore and Muhammad Ali.

Modern refs don't know what a knockdown is or what a TKO is. Fury was completely TKO'd. They called it a "knockdown". With no knockdown. Horrible refs. Playing their favorites. With no knowledge of the rules.
