While watching the fight, I thought Cabbage broke his ribs rather than his arm. I thought at the time that this had been achieved by one of Butterbean's 400lb bodyshots, and that this must have been during the second round, given Cabbage's more or less complete dominance during the first round. I also love how afterwards they're standing there completely at ease with one another, with one missing several teeth and the other sporting a broken elbow. Nutters!

I watched Cabbage's UFC fights. I remember that he has excellent power combinations and a large, concrete head that is unfazed by heavy punches. The Bean does not look like an athlete, but he moves well for such a huge man. When he's fresh, he actually is light on his feet.

I can't believe I heard people booing at the end of this fight. What a disrespect to two guys who showed incredible resilience and gave 100%, just for there entertainment. And what class at the end of the fight especially by Cabbage, showing both of these fighters are pure heart and very little ego, just doing what they love.

Butterbean basically can't be knocked out, MULTIPLE hard elbows to HEAD and he just spits out his teeth and keeps going. So he's a man that you aren't going to knock out and you definitely don't want to stand toe to toe because he has bricks for hands and a bowling ball for a head. Your only option is make him tired and try to submit in a hold. I mean that has to be scary you throw massive elbows to a guy in the face multiple times so hard you break your arm and he's still standing.

Back in the 90s , people couldn't get enough of Butter bean.E You knew Bean was gonna bring it and force his opponent into an entertaining fight. He would usually win with a brutal KO. He was an absolute Legend on Tuesday Night Fights.

Butterbean was a superb athlete. He was spooky fast for his size, and his stamina, especially for his size, was out of this world. He was a genuine freak. I remember his VO2 max was confirmed to be that of an elite endurance athlete.

Met Butterbean 7 years ago at a small casino he came to watch the local fights. I sat down and 5 minutes later he walks in and sits right next to me, I was lucky enough to chat with him, he is such a good, incredibly humble person.

Both of them did a great job in there! Butterbean always impresses me. His cardio and toughness is amazing. He was being hit with elbows hard enough to knock out his teeth, and it never even slowed him down. Cabbage was fighting most of the time with a broken arm. You have to respect how tough and dangerous both of them are. That was awesome.

I'm not saying that Butterbean is a marathoner, but none of those guys were carrying 400 pounds, OR having to deal with wrestling and kicking during their fights either. These kinds of fights gave Butterbean a career, because he would have no chance in a straight up heavyweight boxing match against the top tier heavyweights.
