My dad was telling me a story of how he was really excited to watch a Mike Tyson match back in the 80s and before the match started he told me he went to the bathroom and when he came back the other guy Tyson was fighting was knocked out 😂

I am 52 years old, was born on the 29th April 1969 and I was privileged to watch some of the greatest boxers in history (as it happened).

The thing about Mike Tyson is that his technique is so sharp. Everything is tight and disciplined while maintaining power and aggression. Absolutely insane!

I remember as a kid, when boxing was still legal in Norway we had a boxer fighting a match in Las Vegas. We had to watch it at my uncles place, he had a satellite dish. Our guy was mediocre he lost, I remember its was still kinda interesting in a way. But after that came the main event, with Mike Tyson... I looked at Mike and thought, tsss this dude is way too big. Slow af, heavy weight is boring. A boxing match has never again made the same impression on me. This was the Iron Mike up and coming at his prime, he was as fast or faster then a feather weight, with lightning fast reflexes and a technique that was godly. I cant remember who his opponent was but he was totally outclassed. He didn't stand a chance. Later on the sports news we had a interview with our guy, and they started talking about Mike. He said yeah I know Mike we used to train in the gym together. I was like wow, he knows Mike? I was a instant fan.

I saw all of Iron Mike's fights and there was nothing like the build up and anticipation of a true Heavy weight champ. Only problem was they were over in seconds after watching hours of the under card fights. Beast💪👊
